The company was founded and continues to be led by a group of business professionals with experience in technology commercialization, call centre management, R&D and marketing.
The company now employs a team of world leading speech recognition design and technology specialists, each with extensive experience in their field of expertise. The design team is headed by Dr. Liz Bednall who is an invited expert on the Standards Australia committee responsible for the development of VUI standards in Australia. Liz has worked on an amazing range of speech recognition and VUI design projects and leads the Inference team of impressively credentialed human factors experts across a diverse range of projects.
Our technology team is headed by CTO Dr. Bradford Starkie. Brad has many publications to his credit and is a recognized world leader in the field of grammatical inference - the technology that underpins much of Inference's technical advantage. Brad continues to drive Inference R&D roadmap, ensuring the company remains at the forfront of cutting edge speech recognition technology.
